I'd like to express my gratitude to Priestess Miriam, and my sister in spirit, Norma for making it possible for me to attend the celebration of Chango yesterday.
ReplyDeleteAs the ceremony began, Priestess Miriam asked a question of all in attendance; a question which has plagued me all of my life-
"Why are you here?"
For the first time in my journey, I had an answer:
"Because I have been homesick for a very long time."
Thank you all for your graciousness and understanding. I didn't even mind signing a release form for the quite unexpected camera crew (I'm quite camera shy) but I did so with a smile on my face, because...I feel as though I have been released.
I further wish to thank Chango, for the quickening of spirit that I feel today. I have been 'asleep' for such a very long time, and I woke today after dreaming of a mansion on such a high mountain top that the only view of the surrounding landscape was of clouds and treetops...magnificent!
Thank you so much Norma, for this introduction to the lovely people of Priestess Miriam's flock.
There is no place like home.
